Unfortunately, my husband had a need for a sypmathy card for a co-worker. So I made the card I'm showing you today.I used a base of Early Espresso with layers of Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla on the sentiment.

Coastal Cabana Blended Bloom Stampin Up Greeting Card
Today I'm sharing the first card that I've made with my new stamp Blended Bloom #135906. I hesitated because this stamp is only sold in the wood block version and I tend to favor clear stamps. I am sooooooooooooooooooooo glad that I bought this stamp! I have seen it used and bought it with the intention of watercoloring the image. As you can see, that's not the approach I took with my first card.
I shaded my background paper with Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, and Baked Brown Sugar in with sponge daubers and masking tape.
I then stamped the flower in Momento Black with the tape still in place. I mounted the image onto Black.
I added retired Baked Brown Sugar stretchy trim to the back of the bottom and then pop dotted the image onto the front of my Coastal Cabana card base.
It's a bit difficult to see, but I added on medium and 5 small pears around the center of each flower.
I used a Hero Arts sentiment, and it's done.

Stampin Up Memorable Moments Anniversary Card
Hello! Wow, it certainly has been a while since I've shared a card with you. I apologize for that.
The card I'm going to share with you a card that I used a few retired items from Stampin Up and a current stamp set called Memorable Moments (Item #126682 for clear mount). Which, in my opinion, is and awesome set! It's designed to work with the Labels Framelits, and it gives you the ability to personalize birthday and anniversary cards for a specific year because it includes number stamps as well.
Supplies Used:
- Labels Framelits
- Adorning Accents Edgelits
- Designed Frames embossing folder
- Pearl Basic Jewels Embellishments (#119247)
- Whisper White cardstock (#100730)
- Basic Black cardstock (#121045)
- Stampin Dimensionals (#104430)
- Recollections Printed Cardstock Black and White
- 3/8" black grograin ribbon by Ribbon Offray
- Black Lace Doily Ribbon by the Paper Studio
This is a close up of the sentiment. I was trying to show you the detail that the designed frame embossing folder added for the sentiment. I used 4 of the smallest pearls, and 2 of the second smallest pearls to accent the points of the label die cut.
The sentiment label die is popped up on dimensionals and the ribbon is underneath that layer.
I used the edgelits on the top pattern paper and the white layer. I adhered the lace doily ribbon under the top pattern paper layer with adhesive.
Here is a final look at the card.

Stampin Up Easter Card
Today, I'm sharing the card I made for the February Ladies Play with Paper club. We were supposed to meet last Thursday, but like winter in Minnesota tends to be unpredictable, we had a horrible snowstorm and we moved our meeting to this coming Wednesday. I thought I'd share my card with you anyway. The theme for the month is Easter.
I used two different embossing folders for lots of texture.
I made the flowers with the 7/8" circle punch with three layers. I used the bird punch for the leaves, the window word and the modern label punches as well.
Here are a few side views.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Ladies Play with Paper Stampin Up Note Card: Secret Garden and Cannery Framelits
Those of you who are familiar with my blog know that I belong to a group of ladies who get together and play with paper once a month, LPP :)
Well, we got together for February, and it was my friend Tara's turn to provide the projects we would make. She came up with an ADORABLE card that used the cannery framelit set with the Secret Garden stamp set and framelits. I fell so in love with the design, I borrowed the items from her so I could make more!
Here is my version of the card Tara had us make.
I used Gumball Green, Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit on this card. The pattern paper is called Print Poetry and is retired.
Thank you Tara!!

Lattice Look Greeting Card--Pinterest Inspired Greeting Card
I didn't have the lattice die that this card was made with, but I worked with what I had to see what I could come up with. The color scheme is the same as my last post: Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake, and Print Poetry DSP. This card is inspired by a card that my friend Norma saw on Pinterest
This is the card that Norma saw.
Here is the card I made.
I used a larger flower set and punch. I also used the bird punch for the "leaves" of the flowers. I used Not Quite Navy, and the pattern paper is retired from a paper stack I got called Print Poetry. The base is from a retired confetti kraft.

Birthday Wishes Hexagon (Six-Sided Sampler) and Honeycomb Greeting Card
Welcome to 2014! I'm hoping that this year brings everyone blessings abound!
Today I'm sharing with you a simple card I made with some clearance rack DSP Print Poetry. It coordinated nicely with Not Quite Navy and Crumb Cake, which are the two colors of carstock I paired it with.
I punched two hexagons from two different pattern papers in the pack I mentioned earlier. I also stamped and punched two hexagons from the Six-Sided Sampler stamp set (the alphabet and dot backgrounds).
I used the honeycomb embossing folder on the Not Quite Navy.
The birthday greeting is from Petite Pairs.
It's difficult to tell from the photos, but I popped up one hexagon in each row for more dimension.
Thanks for looking!
