Tutorial: Decorated Gum Wrappers

Aren't these cute???!!! We made these when I was in a Stampers 12 group, and I just came across the instructions again this weekend. Since I'm never without gum, I decided to make a few and share the instructions with you.

This one is a bit longer because is has a different kind of gum in it...you'll need to measure the inside packet to know what size to make your container. I'll give you the instructions for each of the ones in my photos.

This one is a bit shorter than the first one I showed you, so it doesn't have a sentiment on it.

This shows you the two types of gum. The longer one that says "friends" is a Market Pantry brand from Target. The shorter one is a Dentyne Ice pack.

OK.. Now the instructions so you can play too!

Supplies for the longer version:

* cardstock for base measuring 5 3/4" x 4 1/4"

* accent pattern paper or another cardstock measuring 3 1/2" x 2 1/4"

* small circle punch (5/8" used in sample)

* ribbon

*stamped images of choice

*bone folder

*adhesive and sticky strip or strong adhesive

Supplies for smaller version:

* cardstock for base measuring 5 3/4" x 3 3/4"

* accent pattern paper or another cardstock measuring 3 " x 2 1/4"

* as well as everything else listed for the longer version

Instructions for both version:

* score base cardstock at 5 1/2", 3", 2 3/4", and 1/4"

*fold all score lines

*in the center of one of the full sides use the circle punch to punch a half circle

*apply sticky strip to the 1/4" scored piece

*assemble and decorate

Thanks for stopping by to play! Happy crafting!
